Top-up Diploma in Circular Economy (TUD in CE)

About

HICCER's Top-up Diploma in Circular Economy (TUD in CE) is a two years program opens only for currently enrolled students in any bachelor/masters/doctoral prorthat equips you with the knowledge and skills to be a leader in this transformative approach to economic development through modernizing critical infrastructure sectors. You get an interdisciplinary approach to environmental sustainability with emphasis on research and practical problem solving to achieve a circular economy. 


This program delves into :

The principles of circularity: Learn how to design products and systems that keep materials in use for longer, minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency.

Circular business models: Explore innovative models like product-as-a-service, repair and reuse, and resource recovery, creating economic value while reducing environmental impact.

Life Cycle Thinking: Gain expertise in assessing the environmental footprint of products and processes, identifying opportunities for optimization within a circular system.

Policy and regulations: Understand the evolving policy landscape that supports the circular economy transition.

Circular design strategies: Develop skills to design products for longevity, disassembly, and recyclability, extending their lifespan and minimizing waste.

Real-world applications: Explore case studies and practical examples of how businesses are implementing circular economy principles across various sectors.


By the end of this program, you will be able to:

  • Apply circular economy principles to real-world challenges.
  • Identify and implement circular business models within an organization.
  • Design products and systems that prioritize resource efficiency and minimize waste.

Eligibility

- Enrolled in any bachelor's/masters/doctoral degree program in any recognized institution and for a bachelor degree student atleast first year should be completed.

- Able to produce no-objection letter from the institution to take up the top-up diploma


Intake & Selection Procedure

Intake is only 50 students and the selection procedure is based on interview.  However, candidates qualified in JEE mains and/or any state level entrance tests  can directly take the admission.


Fee Structure & Scholarships

25000 Indian rupees plus 18% GST per semester. Scholarships also available.

Eligibility

Any recognized Batchelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in CGPA


Intake & Selection Procedure

Intake is only 30 students and the selection procedure is based on interview followed by an assignment.  However, candidates qualified in GATE/GRE/CAT/MAT can directly take the admission.

30000 Indian rupees plus 18% GST per semester. Scholarships also available.
